Hello!! I am Grant from South Africa but currently living in Australia. I am a photography fanatic and the same goes for film making! I specialise in portraits. I love doing self-portraits, I find that if I'm the model and the photographer, theres good communication and thereby I know I can get me to do what I want (whoa that sounds crazy). I absolutely adore photographers that have a unique style, someone that can capture the essence of a person. Because that's what I believe portrait photography is about, showing people the mystery of another human being.

Faces of Cairns

Hello ladies and gentlemen!
Tis been a while and I must admit that I have been rather inactive. I have recently done some photos for Madie's sister when they had the grade 12 formal and it has stirred my passion for photography once again. So much so that I've decided to create a little project of my own called Faces of Cairns - Cairns being the town I live in. Hopefully it'll work for me and get me out of my comfort zone and taking more photos. I'm going to start lugging my camera with a 50mm lens around with me wherever I go and whenever I see someone that looks even remotely interesting I shall take their photo!
